What is 4U
4U is short for 4Urology. 4U is a free email service that gives you a weekly overview of the latest published abstracts of original articles, trials and reviews in 4 prominent urology journals: European Urology, The Journal of Urology, Andrology and Neurourology and Urodynamics. Our issues are spread out over each month and contain 4 themes: Andrology, Functional Urology, Oncology and Miscellaneous. This gives you the possibility to allocate time most efficiently, depending on your topic of interest. It's easy to do and knowledge is for everyone, so sign up now.
European Urology: is ranked 1st in the fields of Nephrology and Urology, and amongst surgical specialty journals. It is also the official journal of the European Association of Urology (EAU). Published by Elsevier.
Andrology: focusses on the study of the male reproductive system and other male gender related health issues. In 2013 the Journal of Andrology has merged with International Journal of Andrology to form Andrology. Published by Wiley.
The Journal of Urology: is the official journal of the American Urological Association (AUA), and the most widely read and highly cited journal in the field. Published by Elsevier.
Neurourology and Urodynamics: is one of the most renowned functional urology journals, focussing on urinary tract function, urinary and fecal continence and pelvic floor function. Published by Wiley.

V.H. Groen is Editor in Chief of 4U. She is a PhD student on prostate cancer at the Department of Radiotherapy at the UMC Utrecht.
I.L. Bakker BSc
I.L. Bakker is editor of 4U. She is currently a medical intern, and is finishing her PhD project on nuclear prostate cancer imaging.
R. Hogenhout MD
R. Hogenhout (MD) is editor of 4U. She is a PhD candidate on prostate cancer at the Department of Urology at Erasmus MC.
M.A. van der Slot MD
M.A. van der Slot is editor of 4U. She is a PhD student at the Department of Urology and Pathology at Maasstad Hospital and Erasmus MC. Previously worked for the Urology department, Amphia Breda and Deventer Hospital.
